The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) is launching its first-ever MATTA Muslim Friendly Travel Fair (MFTF).
MFTF is set to open to public from 10am to 9pm on October 18–19, 2025, at Tun Razak Hall 4 at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur .
MATTA Fair vs MFTF?
Unlike the larger MATTA Fair at MITEC, This specialized MFTF event is designed to cater to the growing demand for culturally respectful, family-oriented, and accessible travel options for visitors.
“Importantly, MFTF is not exclusive to Muslim travelers. It is designed to welcome all visitors seeking culturally respectful, family-oriented and accessible travel options,” said MATTA Fair
It will feature 115 licensed travel and tour agent booths showcasing destinations, products, and services such as halal food and prayer facilities.
Focus on Halal Travel
MATTA views the MFTF as a significant step to enhance the Muslim-friendly tourism ecosystem in Malaysia, reinforce the country’s position as a global hub for this market segment, and contribute to the growth of its tourism industry.
Especially where demand for Muslim-friendly travel experiences is on the rise in regions such as Southeast Asia, Middle East and South Asia.
Through MFTF, one can expect travel and destination products also catering to Umrah and Hajj packages besides leisure Halal travel.
The fair is supported by key partners, including RHB Bank Berhad and the Islamic Tourism Centre.
