For as long as she can remember, Atthirah Jazmin has been drawn to creating things with her hands. Growing up inspired by the tactile magic of arts and crafts shows like Finger Tips, she possessed an early knack for the intricate and artistic. What began as a childhood passion soon evolved into a lifelong calling.
“Creating has become more than a passion. It is life itself,” Atthirah shares. “I could not imagine living without it, and even in the next life, I would ask God to grant me the ability to create.”
Unable to wait until she reached the legal working age to pursue a conventional job, she decided to build her own path. In 2012, while still very young, she founded Artyra MJ. What started as a small project experimenting with fabrics eventually evolved in 2018 into a dedicated jewelry brand—a strategic and poetic shift that allowed her art to be worn, carried, and brought to life by people.
The Soul of the Craft
Rejecting generic or mass-produced designs, Atthirah designs every piece from scratch to ensure it feels intentional, distinctive, and full of character. This creative philosophy is deeply rooted in her personal journey with femininity.
“When I was younger, I believed embracing femininity meant weakness,” she reflects. “But as I grew older, I realised that softness carries its own strength and grace.”

This realization shaped the aesthetic of Artyra MJ: delicate, intricate pieces created for those whose souls speak in cursive language—celebrating femininity in its softest form while carrying the quiet power that comes with embracing it fully.
Though she describes herself as somewhat of a homebody whose inspiration arrives most clearly in the quiet hours just before sleep, her creations have traveled far beyond her doorstep. Artyra MJ pieces have reached admirers across Germany, France, the United States, Australia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, Singapore, and Indonesia—often resonating deeply with locals from those countries.
“Seeing my creations travel across the world has always been a dream of mine,” she says. “It constantly humbles me, because it shows that my designs are able to speak across cultures.”
Artist meets Artisan: The Genesis of a Collaboration
For its latest chapter, Artyra MJ bridges the worlds of illustration and craftsmanship through a special partnership with Mai of Ethereal Muse Art.
“I’ve admired Atthirah’s work for quite a long time,” Mai shares. “Even before this collaboration happened, I already had the thought that it would be amazing to work together someday. When she eventually reached out, I was genuinely very excited!”
Bound by a long-standing friendship and a shared appreciation for aesthetics that feel feminine, soft, and dreamy, the collaboration felt effortless.
“It didn’t feel forced at all,” Mai notes. “It felt like our creative languages already understood each other.”
For Atthirah, translating Mai’s creations into jewelry was an irresistible urge to give them new life in a different medium. “From the moment we began working together, she not only understood the vision but elevated it in ways I hadn’t imagined,” Atthirah says. “It became a dialogue between artisan and artist, where illustration and craftsmanship meet.”
A Wearable Paradise
Mai represents the world of illustration and artistic imagination, while Atthirah reimagines that vision through meticulous craftsmanship. Together, the artist and the artisan have given birth to The Eternal Garden: A Wearable Paradise.

As Atthirah continues to reflect on her journey as a Muslimah and the gift of turning deep feelings into creation, her message to those who wear her pieces is to let their choices reflect care and the confidence that comes from cherishing artistry that speaks to the heart.
To close, she leaves us with a quiet thought to contemplate on your Ruhfar Journal:
If what we wear quietly reflects what we value, what does your choice say about you?
