This fun event includes music, food, and traditions from the Islamic Golden Age.

What To Expect in The Islamic Festival of Mértola – Exhibitions, Workshops & More..

In this festival, you will enjoy beautiful live performances on different stages, starting with a special concert at Mértola Castle (more about this castle in this article).
For shopping, explore the colorful stalls of the village souk, where you’ll find handmade crafts and traditional goods. A walk through the souk will definitely invoke nostalgia reminiscent of Morocco!
And if you’re a food lover, you can try traditional North African dishes like couscous and sweets served with mint tea.
