After closing down for a bit, Cheongwadae is finally reopened!

Located in the heart of Seoul next to the Blue House & Gyeongbokgung Palace, here are some things to experience, on your independent exploration in Cheongwadae..

Discover Who You Are as a Traveler

As you enter, you’ll be greeted by a series of heart-hitting questions & quotes on travel.

Wandering aimlessly, finding a new hobby while you travel, and so much more to give you an idea of what to do next on your travels to South Korea, or anywhere else in this world!

You can take a few minutes to pen your thoughts, and write it on the wall!

Pssst… if you share yours online (like how we did here), you’ll be entitled to a FREE goodie bag from Cheongwandae Sarangchae, as a travel memento! Simply look for the booth in the lobby.

Experience the Immersive Fireflies & Lantern South Korean environment

On the second floor, you can experience more than Seoul, or modern-day Seoul, by walking past through the immersive sections of fireflies, and lanterns.

These are recreated to share what’s it like to be in the deep nature of South Korea.

Meanwhile the lanterns, are for reminiscent of King Sejong’s era!

P/s: While you’re in the area, don’t forget to pop by Gyeongbokgung palace just 5 minutes walk away from the exhibition! Entry is 3000KRW per person and a step inside, is a real timetravel!

Discover the Travel Library of Cheongwadae area & the rest of South Korea!

As you meander in the exhibition in Cheongwadae, you’ll find a wall of Travel Library!

The library is full of inspirations from books, travelogs, and so much more.

As it is an immersive experience, don’t forget to touch any of the photos/books in the library and you’ll be amazed at what pops up!

Selfie With #VisitKoreaYear Mascots

Finally, don’t forget to take a selfie with the ambassadors of #VisitKoreaYear Mascots, Hojong, Mugo & Kawoo!

Relax at Travel Lounge & Take In Bukhansan Mountain View

Before you leave, don’t forget to chill at the Travel Lounge on the top floor, and take a view of Bukhansan Mountain.

The view is just… amazing!
